Hi, your thumbnail and section of the video for Pelican crossings actually shows a Puffin crossing. When studying for my theory, I noticed that the image in the highway code rule 196 was incorrect. I emailed the DVSA, and they confirmed this was incorrect, and they will update it when possible. You can see in the image that the red and green figures are above the control box rather than on the opposite side of the crossing, as would be the case in a Pelican crossing (Rule 23).

That last clip is not a uk Zebra crossing, cars are driving on the right, also Zebra crossings in the uk have flashing amber belisha beacons, there would also be zig zag lines on the road both sides of the crossing, an odd video clip to use for a theory test item.
