I first listened to this band and wasn't a fan of the vocals but I loved the lyrics and the rest of the sound so I kept listening to them, one day I listened to them again and suddenly the vocals sounded amazing to me, I could feel the emotion and their songs just hit me on a whole another level. Now I can't wait for their next album.

i think its the mixing that sounds off - not the vocals itself. using a fast delay instead of a reverb would make it sound thicker and closer up.

That overall tone, production and mix is just so authentic and it sounds refreshing, to hear something, where you can tell, that all instruments, are like some kind of organic entity. And those vocals.... Ross Robinson is still in amazing shape.
