Classic track, classic album. I have this album on vinyl from my Dad’s collection. My dad bought the album back in the day in 1978 on his Tappan Zee label.

Fun fact: this song was originally intended to be the Taxi theme song before the producers heard "Angela." As much as "Angela" is iconic and inseparable from Taxi, I can see either song working successfully as the theme.

Totally agree. Has this cruising vibe which would have worked perfectly. As much as I like Angela it's very reflective and quite slow. Touchdown would have made for a good theme for the show too!! Love this album ♥️🎹🎷♥️
