@@pulkpuller Yup exactly. Even just a 50 gallon drum, lots of places give them away, but would be a bit more maintenance to keep cold. The freezer would be nice to cycle on a timer plug in extension so it maintains a cold temp. Run it for a couple hours a day. The apartment sized ones even have a little ledge where the pump is underneath so it comes with a built in seat. Perfect hack! Yah the $5000 tub looks nice but for those of us who don't have money to just burn... why.

I don’t really get the weird negativity and nitpicking over this. I also do not get the comparison between Mayhem and HWPO- they are just different. And it is so subjective- to me HWPO training facility is actually the dream; super neat and minimalist with every equipment you could ask for and more, I personally like the black/white theme and lack of extra colour. I just didn’t get the point of this video and the unnecessary ripping of the video and the space.

I think the new facility fits perfectly with Fraser's personality. He trained in a basement. No comfort. Nothing pretty. Focus is only on getting stronger and faster. However, I did expect a lot more from the recovery room. And he's in Vermont, so just put the cold tub outside. Isn't it cold most the year?

I wonder if because Fraser spent so many years training alone he isn’t a highly social person, designing so many spaces to be alone might be part of his personality, part of how he stores his energy, he doesn’t waste his time/energy on things that don’t benefit his training. The way it is laid out doesn’t really surprise me. I bet they repaint in a couple years once all the white turns a grungy gray 😂

Could you see a large or tall athlete trying to squeeze inside of that barrel? Or better trying climbing into that thing after doing Murph? Fraser should know better. Everytime you see Mat after a competition especially in Vermont, he'd be on his knees with his arms in an Igloo cooler. This is just about getting free stuff and sponsorships.
