In so many stories the 'villain/s' fall to their knees. I have never seen anyone do that.
@rmhartman9 ай бұрын
One I heard a few days ago, supposedly taking place in the United States, had them bowing, even touching their forehead to the floor.
@lindasavelle17319 ай бұрын
Most of these stories are from Japan. Bowing and kneeling in apology is common in Japan. Brandon is in trouble because he was bad mannered in public to a superior. His life is basically over because a reputation for bad manners is career suicide in Japan.

@@davidnash8208 I agree but they do, right? They change the names to western ones to get Americans to watch them, it's business.

@@lindasavelle1731 Not only that, BUT, "Emily" must be on every name list. I am beginning to hate that name!!

It can sometimes take a long time before you can ultimately do business with each other again and possibly not only business-wise but also physically, it remains to be seen what this will lead to.

The unfortunate thing is that the Brandons of the world are rarely punished and often rewarded for their deplorable behaviour. Being Teflon coated and talking a big game is of far more importance than actually producing results.

This story is from Japan. In Japan being rude in public is dangerous. Especially in business. What Brandon did is actually career suicide. I see he was demoted and eventually resigned. This is how the Japanese deal with bad employees. Japanese labor law promotes lifetime employment so usually they don't outright fire you, they humiliate you by demoting and/or transferring you and allow bullying from other employees to force you to quit on your own. Even out of business, I'd advise anyone traveling to Asia to be well mannered because nothing will get you in trouble faster there than being disrespectful to people. The Japanese are almost too well mannered. In public anyway. If a story has someone being punished for being rude to other people it is from Japan.

I hope Brandon and emily's parents will recognize their mistakes. They ought be sued for what they did to their children. For Emily, I hope her life turns out for the better. What Brandon did in his company with his co-workers, he can't handle alcohol. He should have been arrested and ended up in prison along with his work buddies.

Another one of those 'My name is [ ] and I work as [ ]" stories.
@BuilderofRat8 ай бұрын
Yes, they all follow the same template. Some have more twists and turns in the plot than others. When the snow melts here where I live in Idaho, and I can be outside, these stories will have one less viewer. For now, here I sit. Today has more snow in the forecast. I am tired of this snow!!!

Here we call them Night Clubs, or, Taverns, or, Beer Joints, or, Bars, most rely of what type of clientele frequent the establishment. LOL Also the price of the drinks vary do to the class, or lack thereof of the clientele.

Yes But in The UK YOU GO TO A PUB AND YOU GO TO THE BAR TO GET YOUR DRINK OF BEER WHISKEY OR FOOD ! THERE ARE NO WAITERS WHO COME TO YOUR TABLE ?. You Joe POBLIC go to the BAR AND ORDER YOUR FOOD AND DRINKS I think this is the big difference between the United States and The United Kingdom ?. Oh and we can get SH FACED AT 18 TOO BUT FOR YOU ITS STILL 21 ! FUNNY THAT YOU CAN DRIVE A CAR AT 16 HERE ITS 18 BUY A GUN AT 18 ? HERE ITS NOT A THING TO DO OH AND WE CAN ALSO VOTE AT 18 TOO I THINK IT USED TO BE THAT SMOKING WAS AT 16 then it was 18 BUT KNOW ITS 21 ?.
