Yo ... I see gear heads think alike. Got mine 6 weeks ago. Also have the mkii kit w/faders and stand. Good stuff with Softube. The mkiii fader promo looks slick. Oh ... have SSL UF1 & UC1 as well. I had to build 3 zones ... Creative Corner - (SSL Big6, The Bus +, UC1, UF1, UA LA610) - Mix Station and post production - MBOX Studio, Black Lion Rev EXP ADAT, Fredenstein Bento8 Pro w/SSL UV EQ & SPL BIG 500 w/4 slots left to ... Console One MK3 is on the future mastering desk. The planned gear is $$$ and I may need a random ski mask!! *kiddin'

They just added Fabfilter to the line up of plug-ins compatible with the console 1. Grabbed one as soon as I heard that.

It seems really nice, but you can only use Softube or UAD plug ins with it. With the SSL UC1, you can use Waves, and other third party plug ins which make it a little more flexible. But I do love the work flow of the Mark III beter.

hey bro, you must have the plastic protection film still over the screens. You can remove the film and the screens will feel nice and won't scratch as easy. You must have scratched the protective film.

Did you remove the thin protecting-plastic from the screens?? On the video it seems like it is still on (at least on the right screen). No wonder your screen felt soft and was easy to scratch….

Are you sure about that buddy? I just got one of these and the screen protector film wasn't obvious at all. Unless you've already taken it off it's probably still on there ;) @@TouchToneDSG

I can confirm there was foil on the displays of my unit (May 2024). You can peel it of using your nails. But I get @TouchToneDSG because I had a similar experience. I just was relentless enough... 😶‍🌫

I just got mine today and right out of the box there are scratches and blemishes….really bummed, I will check again to see if there is any protective film…. I didn’t even power it up, I’m waiting to hear back from Sweetwater to see what they recommend , this must be a common issue I would imagine.. sad😢
