You're both right and wrong. Tobias had the title Hunter's Moon saved after that he listened to Harvest Moon and found out that Hunter's Moon was the month that followed. He wrote the song after that he was asked after a show in Los Angeles together with Max Grahn (Husaby from Eurovision movie) and recorded it. Then covid happened. The movie was postponed for a whole year and Tobias choosed to re record it since he was not happy with the final result. But the movie company refused to replace the first version and if you watch the movie that is the version you hear. If you listen to the album this is the version you hear. Tobias is a massive massive horror movie fan and actually saw the first Halloween movie when he was only seven years old. His mother rented it for him when he was sick and home alone from school . True story.

Most of their videos pay homage to classic horror films & novels in some way. Nosferatu, Carrie (in Cirice) etc. These ghouls remind me of Megadeth's So Far, So Good, So What album cover. Zenith is one of my favorite songs so can't wait.

I have recently looked into every song knowing what inspired Tobias and so many songs you think are about say love or sec are nothing to do with it ! He’s very clever his mind is crazy ! All his songs and the music he writes are about anti religion, falls of empires, greed , corruption it’s so interesting to read into his mind through his music 😊

I've come to enjoy the changes to the Nameless Ghouls designs in the same way I enjoy Papa - I get that they change, much in the same way that the Papas do. Honestly, I was kinda disappointed about the switch to the chrome devil masks from those original venetian carnival ones when it originally happened, but I came to love them as well. I'd seen Ghost live at the Gdańsk shipyard in Poland this year, absolutely fantastic show.

I think the reason that the guitar riff in the chorus is so odd is because it seems to be a guitar version of the Halloween theme by John Carpenter from the original series. :)

Hi again 🤘 This was, I think, the first single that was released from the Impera album. And my thoughts were the very same... Was the song written before, or for the movie..? I think Magnus explains it perfectly, below. I can remember the excitement when I listened to it the first time. Was it going to be "the odd song" since it was meant for the movie soundtrack, or was it indicative of the direction Impera was going to take you. 🙂 Me and my son always go to the Ghost rituals together. He attended his 10th this summer, and I my 9th, at the Tons Of Rock festival in Oslo, Norway. It has become a father - son thing that we both appreciate very much. When there is a new album, and a tour cycle, we always try to avoid videos of live performances from that tour. This just to maximize the "surprise" and joy from the ritual itself. For the Imperatour ritual we actually managed to avoid discovering what the new nameless ghouls masks looked like. 😀 Anyways .. The choir you heard in the bridge is latin. I have seen some suggestions and translations, and I think it's something like this: Celare soror mea (Hide my sister), Mors tua, vita mea (Your death, my life), Celare soror mea (Hide my sister), Mors vincit omnia (Death conquers all)

Hey, real quick, the stuff immediately following "It's a Hunter's Moon" is in 5/4, and should you listen close, it's an interpolation of Carpenter's Halloween theme (which is also 5/4). Not knowing this was from the movie, we get to that part and I'm going, "This sounds familiar..."
