First Time Reaction to "Welcome to Wrexham" S2E14 “Worst Case Scenario”

Apart from Mark the commentator saying that this was a “must win” for both teams, the show didn’t really make clear that Yeovil desperately needed the points to avoid relegation from the National League. As it happens, the two teams have been drawn to play each other in the Second Round of this years’ FA Cup, at the Racecourse in the first weekend of December.

The pub featured in the hit series Welcome to Wrexham has reopened after a fire scare. Wayne Jones, landlord of The Turf, initially said it would be shut until further notice after a blaze broke out in the boiler room. But later on Friday afternoon, Mr Jones said the pub was allowed to trade would "somehow" be open.

Yes, for a very long time it was thought the club was founded in 1873 (which was why the club opened its Centenary Club in 1973), but an old newspaper from 1879 was found which recorded that the club had been formed “15 years ago”.
