Touge Drifting at Gunsai - Japan!

Gunsai Touge - known for it's best for it's use in Hot Version, is one of the best, legal road courses in Japan. Gunsai - typically a cycling venue, replicates a perfect mountain style touge pass, right in the heart of Japan and just an hour out of Tokyo! In this episode we got to stand course-side, and spectate the Hardcore Tokyo Gunsai Event first hand with some of the best cars and drivers in the world, including Naoki Nakamura.

Awesome touge drifting in Gunsai! The level of drifting here is just insane, just as exciting as watching D1GP! That GZ20 Soarer is incredibly well built, such a cool platform for drifting! At the risk of sounding old/cliche, but being of an age where I remember not seeing drifting, then reading about it, option video, internet, then opening for Indy races to now. I love a good rally and a bit of drag racing so drifting always ticks the boxes for me as well. Great event, thanks for getting out to it and showing it off.

@@cmarks751 Varies wildly. A PC for reliable 90fps VR (anything less will make you motion sick) will probably run $1500+. My PC all together has about $2500 in parts (i build my own PCs). The VR headset varies also but if your mostly interested in mostly sim racing I suggest an HP Reverb G2 ($350-$500). Cockpit $200-$1500+ depending if you want a high end seat. Mine was only $200 because I didn't need one with a racing seat as I use my office chair due to limited space. For the wheel/pedal/shifter/handbrake I use a Thurstmaster T300 GT ($400) , TH8A shifter ($200) , USB handbrake ($100). If you want higher a higher end driving experience (Moza , Fanatec etc...) you're looking at $1500+. Overall if you dont already have a high end PC your looking are $3000ish to get started. A high end experience will easily be $5000+ . It's not a cheap hobby but still cheaper then a real racecar where you can burn through $1500+ worth of tires and brakes in a weekend. You can also find good deals on used stuff on FB marketplace.
