Agreed. And only if folks be silly their car will get repoed. Unless you've got a loan from the Mafia or a Cartel, if things get tough you gotta talk to them. These companies don't want to repo your goods, it's a last resort thing. They want to keep you on the books. The repo thing is a nuisance because they've gotta Mr Repo in. Pay him Then sell the car, and pay someone to do the selling for them. Possibly pay debt collectors, lawyers etc. it's a hassle and all the steps cost them. They'd much rather keep their customers. Even if they don't get their regular repayments for a while, it's easier for them to work out something with their customers. Afterall, it might take longer, but they'll earn even more. That's what a bank manager told me, repoing goods is the last resort action, and as he explained to me it's too much work and costs them. 999/1000 times they'll negotiate some sort deal.

i am older now and happy to say every auto loan i had, a total of 7, i paid on time, early, and in full. the 1 or 2 times it was close, when i was young, i did what i had to because you just got to have wheels. i always needed my vehicle to carry my tools to make money. i have been down to the point of visiting friends just to eat so i could pay my bills. choices can be tough but they have to be made. this was before all this public transportation was everywhere. you had to have a car to get around. school was uphill, work was uphill, hell going home was uphill. lol

Love watching you from here in Australia... when i was doing repos I the late 80s it was a bit different where we had to ring tow trucks to pick cars up ... we never had those winch arms like you have ... but yeah hear in Australia you got to watch for the cameras that get you on mobiles or not wearing seat belts. Very hefty fines and you lose 3 demerit points every time you get done. At Christmas Time it's double demerit points
