So I had to give this a listen 5 times before I had real sense of what Dr Curry was saying. Now that I do, "right on Bruh."

I could hear the statements in his question, it’s a reflexive notion that the theories are beyond question. Bet the guy asking the question didn’t hear a damn word of Curry’s response. In true liberal fashion, he will mostly go to cocktail parties and claim “that Curry is really focused on feminism” and dismiss the argument without engaging it. And this is how too many white liberals get down, Curry would soon stop getting invites to cocktail parties, social gatherings and will be ostracized.

Omniamericana and that’s pretty much the mental framework these white _”liberals”_ in USA 🇺🇸 higher academia work with...when they try to shut contrarian PhDs like Dr. Curry out of these institutions. These white liberals disingenuously create strawmen arguments of what they think(or want to think) that people Dr. Curry are making...rather than honestly and robustly debate the arguments actually being made. These white liberals tend to care more about servicing a mainstream narrative that puts them at the type of the USA caste hierarchy of decision making...more than they do acknowledging the destruction comes from the decision-making of that same USA caste hierarchy. Which has led to a lot of explosive results that have yet to be reckoned with, such as using government welfare programs to remove men from the household, zero tolerance policies in the K-12 school system that disproportionately targets minority boys for suspension and expulsion a’la _”school-to-prison-pipeline,”_ and then racism in the Human Resources office that targets minority men. All this unfortunate situations comes from white liberals unwilling to allow debates on these issues to be fully fleshed out in academia in real-time...so that they can either be affirmed or debunked in a true intellectually objective and honest fashion. Now, Dr. Curry is forced to go overseas to ensure that his academic theories and his career are not undermined by those same USA 🇺🇸 white liberals. Who like their USA 🇺🇸 white conservative counterparts...care only to service a narrow narrative...at the expense of an honest objective debate and any sort of institutional reform(s) that could result from said debate.

On point 100%. I experienced this lack of support and frail minded folks...when I was in grad school 2012-2017. I was bullied by professor and clueless classmates, my two advisors, and the department chair. I was about to get kicked out of grad school for sure. I got personal calls at home telling me "I upset people" when I bring up these counter topics in class. Wow... Painful time in my life. All of my professors could not help me with any of my research papers. They had to clue how to deal with grading my topics.

The problem is they simply refuse to study history from the Plantation days til now & actually connect the dots that tell the unsugar coated story. All of this me centered trying to figure out the problem/problems. When the problem is not me centered. Literally got folks overlooking the fact that Booker T Washington to Marcus Garvey to Malcom X to Tupac song Changes. Were basically talking talking about the same issue. And came up with similar solution's involving unaddressed psychological issues within Black America in general.

It's rare to have such a well-read scholar who explodes the history of lies we've been taught for decades. To critique Curry's thesis and claims, you have to read the history for yourself. I'm looking forward to reading his book.

Very, very interesting history, and supports what I have learned about historical feminism from Karen Straughan. The key to all this historical rancour, I think, is this lamentable tendency that we humans have to make sweeping judgments about groups, rather than allowing individuals to be judged as individuals. We've HAVE GOT TO' transcend this evolved instinct of tribalism. As biologist Bret Weinstein says, this human trait of separating ourselves into groups based on traits like skin color no longer serves us well in the modern environment. If we cannot, if we are unable to get control of our proviciality and instead think of ourselves as members of an all-inclusive tribe based on nothing but the trait of being human, we doom ourselves to a rapid extinction.
@nickj54766 жыл бұрын
Heather Chapman Who is separating themselves based solely on skin color? The criterion for inclusion into the group African American isn't based exclusively on color......
@nickj54766 жыл бұрын
Heather Chapman There is no all encompassing group. We can speak of biological categories like Homo Sapiens, but human have variations that transcend the realm of biology.

Liberal baloney. In the age of racism/white supremacy, Europeans made themselves white and established differences between people the point and justification of bigotry and oppression. People are not the same. This is obvious and has been proven by biologists. Differences are beautiful. Liberals say they don't want to see people as different; they really mean that they don't want people to be different. They want everyone to strive for whiteness (though almost none will ever achieve it biologically or through class) and speak English. Talking about what should be. You need to see things as they are.
