If you watched the full episode from that argument, he told Nikki that it can be quite tough to say how he feels etc, because it is hardly ever valued.

It’s hard to understand what someone goes through until you go through it and I think that’s true in this case. Nikki didn’t understand Brie being a mom until now that she is a mom and how hard it is to work and be a mother. She didn’t understand Bryan going through depression until she went through postpartum depression. You think you will be strong until you find yourself in that situation. At the end of the day you see growth and you can see the growth these two have had throughout the years.

Then she has the audacity to say "I'm your mother" like it's insurance to anything. Yeah, she took care of them and supported them through everything but because of her, their father can't be in their lives, like when Nikki had the baby shower for Matteo and when the Bella boys were born. After watching so many of their videos, I can begin to see the differences between the twins and especially being able to tell them apart. Their voices are a little different too. Brie has a deeper voice than Nicole and the face is actually a little longer. Very subtle, but you can see it.
