Even Eric's MUGS are sturdy!! I bought some of the Gorilla racks to try and I love them! The new OctoRack looks awesome and I can't wait to send up some shells in that! The Gator's do look great. Those Echo in the Ears are nice! I just loaded them up to hopefully send up on Memorial day!

Echo In The Ear are the real deal. All of the 5 inch canister shells that we've ever shot at our firing field has left me wandering around picking up 1 inch tall circular pieces of cardboard. I pick them up so the landowner doesn't have to chop them with his zero radius mower. Nothing to pick up with Echo In The Ear because the shells gets blown to shreds. 😆👍💥

For what it's worth I think a space at the ends is not necessary for 1.75 display shells. Big snowball shells, well. 2x4"s are good enough to take it with good rails of course.. Now for 3" ID guns, that is another thing. Still a nice rack. 398

Wow. $16 bucks for a sleeve of 6. That’s not bad at all for those shells. Just saw um at phantom has um for like $80. Bogo tho so still like 40 a pop.

A bit of hyperbole in the title. If it ain’t been tasted with a Cato…then it’s just speculation. That notwithstanding, just about any rack will survive a Cato with that much tube spacing. But hey, some people will STILL argue it’s not strong enough or whatever. 😄🙄

I was actually hoping you’d put the thing to the test. What I hate about Eric is how much of a contradictory person he is. Here he is with “the safest rack in the consumer market” but then goes and sells double sided tape cardboard for a consumer cake board as though the cake isn’t going to blow right through the cardboard on grass…. So supposedly the safest but gives the consumer the idea that the safest is a piece of cardboard with double sided tape. Not to mention the risk of a fire from the cardboard being flammable and the cakes being susceptible to catching fire after they’ve lit. If you’re gonna go that route save yourself the money, buy an industrial roll of double sided tape, and get some free pizza boxes from little Caesars after feeding the crew…. So I think he’s very hypocritical and extremely egotistical when he isn’t selling only the safest on the market. Kind of false impression to the consumer. And that’s a big issue to the consumer since we’re dealing with explosives. Not toys.

@@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics it looks like he finally took it down after a little reviewing his website again. About a year ago he had a cardboard box with double sided tape for sale on it as a “cake board” I pointed out the flaws with the design on pyro universe. I ended up getting thrown out over that. Had to laugh about it because the place was a terrible joke to begin with. But what stuck with me was that I had respectfully commented about the design flaws and he took it as a stab to his ego and went off about it. Like I wasn’t trying to take clients away from him. I mean we’ve all done janky things. But where I had my issue with him was when he blew up at me over it. Let that ego take control and just go to town. Almost as if I had no right to talk about safety due to something he’d heard about me which was only hearsay to begin with. The argument went on for almost 3 days. So I finally just had enough of it and blocked him which got me booted from two groups and started more hearsay. And now it’s either off because it just didn’t sell or because it was unsafe and either way I made both points in the argument. But to blatantly berate a former customer for looking out for you is just bad business. Funny thing is I was actually salty with Johnny Starr over some shells that came with the wrong size for the tube. He offered the right tube, and gave me a sleeve of double trouble…. And I came back. And I’ll recommend him to more people because of that ethic. Giving me a sleeve of double trouble is questionable on the safety side but it was pgi. Eric on the other hand I can’t recommend because I can’t trust that safety is truly at his forefront. I wish I could but unfortunately I can’t.

@@PYROBOOM the issue is the trust. I cannot trust pyroboom to have safety in their mindset over that cardboard stick tape product that was once sold. I don’t have the wrong company I remember correctly. I remember this rhetoric, I remember the deny it and ask for forgiveness later mentality. But we’re in explosives Eric. Let me give you this example. I buy an entire container of 5” display shells. Every one of them blows on the ground. Should I trust that company again? Or should I never trust them again? Based on what I’m supposed to do based on your reply’s I’m supposed to buy 4” display shells from them and hope for the best… I think someone’s permits would be getting pulled pretty quickly over that.
