What I've learned today from Kaspa. 1. Good players are allways lucky & 2. Rooks smile on open files. 3. Space one diagnaol square away from a Knight or (an opposite colored square)

I’ve been having success with this gambit. About a 75% win rate. I’m sure with time I’ll get more familiar, playing the same moves over and over as you suggested. Thank you for sharing your ideas. You are my favorite You Tube chess guy for purely entertainment purposes.

What I've learned today from my Coach Kaspa. 1. Good players are allways lucky 2. Rooks smile on open files. 3. Space one diagnaol square away from a Knight or (an opposite colored square) 4. Keep pressureizing your opponent until they blunder, they may not know or studied your Gambit. "It's not you who are going to checkmate your opponent, it's them who are going to blunder or just make a mistake. That's just how Chess works!" "NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF THE FIANCHETTO GAMBIT!" From Kaspa Chess

I always enjoy your videos. "Rooks smile on open files." A chess aphorism, I have not heard before. Rooks should occupy open or potentially open files, but your poetic version is memorable, genial and droll. Perhaps in the future, a video of chess opening aphorisms would be wanting. I know I would appreciate that effort. You play well, Kaspa! Thank you!

White is not 2300, his plan was very clear for whole the game. Basically your gambit, same as every other gambit does not pay off. All gambits are just for fun.

Qf3 is a very strong move, it’s hard if white ex light bishop first..

Kasper, it would have been good to move Rh4 instead of what you move Bf5. It would have been a strong variation.
@kaspachessofficial9 ай бұрын
I just analyzed that move order on Stockfish, it doesn't seem to work well. Refer to the best possible line below: 7...Rh4 8. Qxd5 Qxd5 9. Nxd5 Kd8 10. Nf3 Rh5 11. Nf4 ... And White will end up winning more and more material.

Nice video. It is good that you put the first game in it to show how can things go very wrong sometimes with gambits 😂
@kaspachessofficial9 ай бұрын
Right. Things won't always go as planned, and that's where skill & knowledge come in.
