Toughest Tournament of my Life! (Stage 1 Major League Fishing 2022)

First time I've ever fished these lakes and with ONLY ONE DAY OF PRACTICE! There has never been any major professional bass fishing tournaments in West Monroe, Louisiana before so the public knowledge of these fisheries is very slim. The word on the street is that there are ABSOLUTE GIANTS swimming around in these lakes!!

I ain’t gonna lie 😂😂 at 16 min mark or so when you sped the footage up. That first split second when you throttled the boat that the camera jerked going into fast forward. I thought you smashed a stump and almost threw yourself out the boat lol. I watched that tourney. It was tough fishing. Even championship day was tough. I figured it was going to come down to who caught the last 8-10 pound fish.

One of the best fishing videos to date. More like this, JW. Really cool to see “behind the scenes” and realize JW is a down to earth guy, doing his own equipment maintenance, like the rest of us. i had someone thread the needle when i was on lake conroe last we went to stow-a-way and we were getting ready to leave i had someone come 100ft behind us in like 5ft of water next to stumps and peoples houses. dude cut it so close if we would’ve turned to play with the new lowrance our boat would’ve been cut in half. dude came like within 5 to 10 feet away from us. when he jumped on plane at first he was coming straight at us.

Stay away from the mud terrain tires they get loud as they wear out, they look much more aggressive , But, must rotate often, Get the all terrain tires , better ride and a lot less road noise. Yours are loud in the video. Lol..

I've fished this lake all my life and it can be tough to get a big bite! And yes stay in the channel on this lake running the big motor. This lake is funny somedays they bite one day and then the next nothing. Lake is not known for big bass.
