@@applescruff1969 While true, you need to be tech savvy to know how to jigger up an old game, which I'm not. As an example, I bought Carmen Sandiego's Great Chase Through Time AND The Magic School Bus Explores the Ocean, and while I could get SimTown to work with compatibility mode, the same thing doesn't work with those other games. What I like about GOG and Steam is they have it all prepped for you for ease of access. Not that it always works, though, because when I tried to play The Master Chief Collection, it said something about cooking or whatever. @@shogun_e1337 Yeah, it's definitely a glitch. It wasn't there when I first played it as a kid (and with a budget PC iirc, since the game ran pretty slow), but it came up when I played it on my laptop years later. I think it might be something with the graphics cards/drivers upon starting up the game (being newer/different from the cards/drivers from back then). But as shown in the video, it always fixes itself once you go into another area/chapter, and the game runs pretty smoothly and consistently (best part: no in-game clock speedups, since that doesn't seem to be tied to a specific FPS) so it was a minor concern for me.

My mom used to play this game on my grandfather's PC. I remember my mom was really bad at the jumping sections and always made me do those sections. What I won't give up to go back to that time, now here I am in 2023, all alone watching the gameplay of a game that feels more like a dream than reality. A fuzzy bright and warm dream.

Jesus. For so many years, I thought this game was just a dream. I remembered playing the PS2 and even PS1 versions, but in the back of my mind I always felt there was another, and I especially remembered the challenge stars and the rictesempra challenge. God, the nostalgia is so strong it burns right now.

I played this game a fair amount as a kid. I was bad at video games at the time and also my computer didn't run the game too well so it always felt a bit clunky. Watching this to finally see how to get past the area I got stuck on. Watching this is making me nostalgic for what this series used to mean to me.

This omg just gives me nostalgia and the one that i actually feel in my stomach. I played this once when i was very very little and could never finish it but i remember i couldnt play it long enough because i would get scared because the game is quite lonely. So the next time in my life that i played it i was a teen and i managed to play it and finish the storyline but i never got all the cards and therefore never saw what was behind the door with the silver keys now im an adult and finding it out its another milestone in my life with this game.

Yeah I agree, the duelling and open world is great. And the house cup ceremony. The only thing they ruined though was Quidditch and the method of learning new spells. Quidditch you were completely left to your own devices in the first game and you could fly wherever you wanted, and catching the snitch was a bit of a challenge. But in this game your automatically following the snitch and all you've got to do is hit your opponent so they don't catch the snitch before you do. And with learning the new spells you had to go over the symbol with the mouse which was so much better than using the keys. But aside from that, this game is great! I always go back to both of them
