Gamesmarts194 I've beaten both, but IN's extra has more spellcards that I just consider guaranteed captures, like Flaw of Forgiving Shrine, Honest Man's Death and Xu Fu's Dimension.

masterhacket213 Well, the overdrive spells are a lot harder than their original versions, so that wouldn't really be an indication of how hard the stage itself is. I've yet to beat that extra stage however, so I won't comment on how hard it is, apart from saying it is harder than the PCB, IN and MoF extras.

masterhacket213 A lot of the trouble comes from playing consistently and avoiding small mistakes. So a long fight leaves a lot of opportunities to mess up, while capturing one spell just takes at most 90 seconds of concentration and decent play. To give an example I've captured every spell in spell practice in IN save stage 6b lunatic and two last words. but I've yet to beat stage 5 lunatic without a continue and reach Kaguya on Lunatic to unlock her spells. If I was playing at my best all the time that wouldn't be a problem, but that just isn't how it works.

masterhacket213 Just to let you know, Ten Desires is considered one of, if not THE easiest game to beat on Lunatic due to the trance system and the overall difficulty. Don't think you can jump straight into other Lunatic modes just because you can beat TD on Lunatic, because even I've done that, and I generally play on Hard.

For those wondering, you'll be surprised how easy it is to slip between the gaps of each bullet because of the 1pixel hit box your character has. You're practically able to touch the bullets and still live as long as the centre of your character does not get hit.

By no means the easiest. In fact Mokou is one of the harder EX bosses. I have experience with every EX boss except Hecatia so I think I can say this pretty confidently. Here's a list of EX bosses easier than Mokou: Flandre, Ran, Suwako, Nue, Mamizou, and Okina. And the harder ones... Yukari, Koishi, Raiko... and I don't know where to place Hecatia since I haven't played her stage. Of course, difficulty is fairly subjective so you might still disagree with me if you've played all the stages too.

I also find Mokou one of the easiest in the series. The only ones I'd rate as among the easier ones would be Ran, Suwako, and Okina. It does really come down to the person though as difficulty is partially subjective.

It's really fun. Something about it is just really fun. Challenging, but really replayable. And the music is enjoyable. You characters arms/legs/head and what not can be touched by the bombs or whatever those things are, but you'll lose health if you're touched in the middle of your body.

It's a tiny white circle in the middle of your character's sprite, usually 3x3 or 2x2 pixels. You can see it when you activate focus mode.

I can tell you a bit more than mitagitsu did about the laser, basically lasers in touhou are unique, their sprite appears before the hitbox that kills you does. In most nonspells and spells though it is a short duration before the hitbox materializes, but in this spell of Mokou's, ZUN made it longer between when the hitbox appears and the sprite, otherwise this spell would be near impossible. So basically, just get close enough so the laser passes you before it's hitbox appears.

It's called Danmaku, and if you take the kanji literally, it means "bullet curtain". Touhou is fairly generous when it comes to hitboxes, so there's some leniency when it comes to hits.

Its a bullet hell shooter game called Touhou. It is not available on any console and is not imported to the US, meaning you have to either A: Pirate it or import it from JP and then mount subs to it to understand anything of what the hell is going on. There are some good Touhou 101's around if you are curious.

In case you haven't figured it out: the lasers only becomes dangerous once it reaches where you were when it spawned, moving towards it after it spawns will let you pass right through it without getting hit.
