I don't know your level, but sure I can give you some useful hint: 1. Choose the character that moves the slowest (In this case, Reimu). 2. If you are not confedent, try to stay at bottom at all time. In this way you only need to worry about dodging bullets in one demension. 3. While you are staying at bottom, try to press the DOWN key while moving left or right. Amazingly, by combining the Down key with the left or right key you can move even slower. 4. Practices. Haha, yeah. This guy is really good at the game, but really all you have to know is patterns and have a general understanding of hitboxes. Mix it in with some decent reflexes and BOOM, you've beaten Touhou on normal difficulty :)

There is a hitbox on your character (It's that white dot in the middle of the sprite) and Every bulelt also has its own hitbox (which you can not see) and it's always smaller than the bullet sprite too. Hence it looks like he gets hit.

You have to play the full run to get to this stage (also if you want it in practise mode). And if you're good (know the patterns etc. you can actually make it easier by doing the first stages well.

In my opinion: (Hardest) SB 9.5 > UFO 12 > SA 11 > MoF 10 > PCB 07> IN 08> TD 13 > EoSD 06 > DS 12.5 (easiest) I said Double Spoiler is the easiest because I managed to capture everything in 3 days, whereas Shoot the Bullets is the hardest because up till now I'm STILL working on some of the spellcards in it.

I'm not qualified to talk about Kanao on Lunatic, but at least on Easy, most of her cards are dodgable with a little bit of studying. But the last card is universally hard no matter what difficulty you're playing on.

I actually think mountain of faith is easier than imperishable night, and suwako is hard (as in, I made it to spell 3 once, hard), but I think some of the other extra bosses are harder than her. I made it to her 3rd spell after like 10 times trying, while after many, many times trying flandre's stage, I only came to her 5th card, once. And in touhou 13 I barely make it to stage 4 on normal...

No I've never tried PC-98 games ^_^ I'm currently working on TD. As for advices for MoF, stage 1 and 2 is easy, stage 4 is the stage which I have the most trouble with. Stage 5 is actually pretty easy consider that almost all of Sanae's spell cards are predictable. Stage 6, it all depends on Kanako's last spell card.
