@@laminar2477 That's a real technicality, though. The reason people talk about "curvy lasers" is because of the hard to read nature of the ones in Shou's non-spells. If they just zig-zag straight ahead, it's not really an issue, but I'm guessing you know that.

I was really excited that I finally beat stage 3 on lunatic yesterday, and then stage 4.... But then I got to this stage. Oh well, I'll survive the second nonspell eventually. Oh and thanks, this vid is a pretty awesome bit of help, especially for that wtf part immediately before the boss, following all the diagonally-aimed bullets from all the little enemies

Awesome man, awesome. Very well done, perfectly done indeed. I have just played through this stage about 30 mins ago on Hard and couldn't do a single thing against the bullet barrage on the second half, just to be finished by those damn snake lasers. Got to practice way more, then one day I should be able to beat Shou. Oh boy, snake lasers are a crime against human reflexes.

I'm FINALLY getting a feeling for reading (Normal) Shou's needle-lasers, and can dodge some of her omni-directional bullet spam attacks if I'm doing well and get lucky. Yup. The translation patch has mistakes sometimes, like Murasa's name. For Murasa, spelling is correct, but not the order her name and surname are. :P

Maybe because of japanese context (idk what context means :3) Shou can be Spelt in しょう in Hiragana form which can be transformed to Syou in Romanization the Literal Shou in japanese doesn't exist it is Syou
