It's beautiful, it sounds so memorable and a little sad, the last song of EoSD and Mario 64 sounds like the end of the adventure and at the same time unfinished, who would think that in the future Mario 64 and Touhou EoSD were the most legendary games that marked the entire internet from its beginnings to our current days and what will continue to be so iconic and special that beautiful 64 Bit style.

despite being mostly the same songs, this sounds so different from the original. perhaps it's because of the different instruments? the original ending song sounded more like a celebration, like something you'd hear after getting the good ending. it captures that feeling of the end of a long journey, and being able to sit back and relax after all you've done. but this one sounds like a sad defeat, like you just spent hours trying to get the good ending, and after all that hard work, you ended up getting the bad ending ̶(̶w̶h̶y̶ ̶d̶i̶d̶ ̶n̶o̶b̶o̶d̶y̶ ̶t̶e̶l̶l̶ ̶m̶e̶ ̶i̶ ̶w̶a̶s̶n̶'̶t̶ ̶a̶l̶l̶o̶w̶e̶d̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶u̶s̶e̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶t̶i̶n̶u̶e̶s̶?̶?̶?̶ ̶i̶ ̶w̶o̶u̶l̶d̶'̶v̶e̶ ̶l̶i̶k̶e̶d̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶k̶n̶o̶w̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶b̶e̶f̶o̶r̶e̶h̶a̶n̶d̶!̶)̶ this song has the same energy as someone who worked so hard to reach their goal...only to fall short in the end. great remix btw 👍

Ah...yes...the ending..theme I booted my Touhou 64 that day and didn't die once....the ending and knowing that you have unlock the extra challenge and...the secret satsuki rin route if you collect all the yukkuris on the normal route...
