Thank you for your tour of Toulon. It's a place we know well as we have friends living there and have spent many happy holidays with them. We've not managed to visit since COVID so lovely to see again .😊

Nice little port stop. When we traveled Europe on our cruise in May there were not many sea days, so we understand about running out of steam. We were tired after only 38 days I can't image 274. Thank you for taking us along we are really enjoying the videos.

It is definitely a long journey. So many ports now in Europe and beyond every single day. We will be sharing every single port with you!

Tressa, you really need a day with a slower momentum after all the past couple of 'busy' days 😂. I prefer wine to beer too, cheers 🥂

See you in beautiful Stockholm tomorrow, Sunday! 🇸🇪🌸🤩 It’s been a pleasure to follow your trip all the way, from December last year. I’ve seen every single episode with joy. Now it’ll be an honour to welcome you to my home town, the capital of Sweden. You’ll be docked right in the city centre, a 20 minute walk from our Old Town. It’s the original Stockholm, where I recommend you to leave the beaten tracks of the bigger touristic streets, and look for the hidden gems of this small island. Second advice is to head to the Djurgården island, right across from where Serenade docks. Here you’ll find wast parks, museums (I recommend the Vasa museum, the ABBA museum, the Nordic museum and Skansen, a huge open air museum with buildings and animals from our entire country) and a small amusement park. Enjoy two wonderful days here, Tressa and Zarko! 💕

We just departed Stockholm. We had two amazing days. Thanks for the insights and suggestions. We did go to Old Town, Vasa Museum, the Nordic Museum and the Viking Museum, the Presidential Palace and even got rained on. Zarko had Swedish beer and we both enjoyed the Swedish Meatballs. We love Stockholm and all of the beautiful islands and the fjords.

It was very emotional to see your ship, the beautiful Serenade of the Seas arrive in Stockholm mid-morning on Sunday. Knowing that you have been navigating almost the entire world. Suddenly you were here in our ancient capital! How nice to see many passengers waving from balconies and open decks. I’m glad you enjoyed it here, with both Swedish beer and Swedish meatballs, although yesterday also offered an intense portion of summer rain. Have a further adventurous few weeks onboard, Tressa and Zarko! Looking forward to your upcoming vlogs! /Peter 🇸🇪

Zark,,,,Any women that buys you a beer is a good woman to have.....The one thing I don't like about this cruise is that you don't have enough time in ports of call......It was still fun......

Toulon is near to Hyere where the TGV (Train Grand Vitesse) stops - just near there is La Lavandou which is on my bucket list - and doable from London by train - the Eurostar from London to Paris, then the TGV to Toulon /Hyere. It looks lovely there - especially as it's mostly a military port. Your next stop in Palma Majorca is somewhere I know quite well - the Cathedral is amazing and a must do. Thanks again for sharing your global adventure! Is there anywhere (apart from home of course_ that calls out to you?

There are several places we are discussing going back for a further visit. It is getting overwhelming at this point with so many ports every day. There are many places we want to return to for further exploration. We have picked one though and plan to return for the winter months to delve further into the culture and country. Stay tuned for that series after the world cruise series.
