Anybody notice at 8.25 when Solar went ot give Pogy a Bottle and Vinagaard grabed it and Solar never let go then gave to Pogy who a few seconds later offered Vinagaard a bottle, watch closely and you will see it

Great performance (in the circumstances) by Jonas - especially after Remco 'prodded the bear' and lost almost a minute! Has anyone else noticed the jerk in yellow at 30:01 who is unceremoniously shoved off the road by the Police motorbike - fantastic. The Tour's organisers should have more of these bikes to ensure that the spectators can get close but don't get so close as to ruin it for the riders and the genuine fans.

When Pog can win a stage by 8 minutes over the 4 cols, when he can win a flat stage, when he can win the green and polka dot as well as yellow, when he has competition as good as Ocana, Fuente, Gimondi, get back to me, until then Merckx is light years better!

Completely different era. Pointless to compare the two. If Mercx were racing today, there's not a chance he would be winning anywhere close to back then. I bet they would be pretty even if racing against each other.

Awesome he has won white, polka dot and yellow in same year with this competition. Attacked at 81km, 100km and even mixed himself with sprinters in San so you have to accept he is a generational talent no debate in that. I love that you can agree that we have to bull Merckx for us to make a argument with Pog he is a destroyer. 🤣🤣
