The GRP Tour de la Chartreuse is a beautiful 101km (63 miles) loop trail near Grenoble, in France.
From Grenoble, the easiest starting point is Le Sappey-en-Chartreuse.
Always check that bivouac (wild camping) is permitted as it changes every year.
In the past years, it has been prohibited in July and August.
