The concert crowds in Ireland are amazing, but Dublin can sometimes be pretty scary as a city, so I feel you! Ireland as a whole is great, especially if you know the cities a little bit better and aren’t by yourself :)

Oh, girl I'm from Dublin. Moore St is not the main shopping area haha, it's more so a historical one where people used to have their own stalls etc (hence probably why it came up after Googling it). But better for tourists around Grafton St/St Stephen's Green. It's a cool city :) (but yes, 'nature' in the countryside is also gorgeous around the West of Ireland).

Girl as an Irish person.. do NOT ever go to Dublin City by yourself if you don't know it!! Its so scary. Ive lived in Dublin its deffo not a safe place to be... I lived on emmet street and the heart of the city and both places traumatised me :/ But in saying that if you're there long enough you get used to the madness and know how to avoid most of it lmao

Definitely come back to Ireland and head down the country! Highly recommend Kerry, Galway, Cork for "typical irish countryside". Dublin's not too bad (coming from someone who is from Dublin) but the more touristy areas are around Temple Bar and Grafton street and you would've probably been better off heading there. IDk what website was recommending you Moore Street because it used to be a bigger market street years ago but its not as big as it used to be anymore and can definitely be on the rougher side compared to Grafton Street area. Definitely wouldn't judge the city off that alone and hmu for recs if you're ever back!!
