ok, but in my defense, I had to choose the zone to summon into before picking the cards to banish, and that was the open zone. I know in the replay, it looks like the cost is paid first, but during the actual game, it made sense to me at the time

For just Tierra, no, it's a 1 card combo. The extra 0.5 card in this video just let me summon Union Carrier to search Sangan, first, who then lets me search Ash Blossom after Tierra resolves. This isn't necessary for the combo (and the rest of it is still doable, even with Union Carrier being banned)

Honestly, this is such an old deck, I could probably make a better version using newer cards like Sprind and the Mikankos in the next couple days. For the decklist in this video, there's a screenshot in the description, plus I typed it all out in a different comment.

If they have Nibiru, you probably scoop and go next, unless they used it too early and can just keep extending. Nibiru is an especially meta-dependent card, though, it was bad vs. Floo and Branded, and is still bad against Runick and Spright, which means even though this deck is weak to it, almost no one is running the card, so I pretty much never get hit by it. If this were TCG, with side decking, obviously I would need to address the card somehow, but Master Duel is a BO1 ladder, so if you ask how I deal with it, my answer is simply "I don't." If they have other hand traps, then it's the same as pretty much any other deck, you either hope you have Called By/Crossout to block it, or you'll need an extender. Like most other 3-axis decks, there's plenty of options between Psychic Tracker/Wheeleder, Kagemucha Knight, and Junk Forward.

Nibiru I'd never used in master duel cause it kinda sucks in master duel, and he had called by the grave for other hand traps.

Read my reply to the other comment saying the same thing, or the video description. I've explained this multiple times already, the only thing Junk Forward does here is leave a 2nd material behind for Union Carrier, which let me put Sangan on the field as an 11th card to search Ash Blossom after Tierra resolved. He's completely unnecessary for the combo, especially now that Union Carrier is banned.
