I wish I can get the whole interview because she talked about real things. She is a great designer but mostly she's real. She mentioned how she almost gave up and wanted to start over, she mentioned how she had to struggle financially to build her dream which is for me an inspirational. Whenever I see videos like this, I wonder how do some people have _so_ much and others so little? It's _not_ just hard work. There are people working so hard and they earn so little. There are people who want to work but can't find any work. There are people starving in the world. There is such a stark juxtaposition between the haves and the have nots. This world is truly hard to understand.

Because Allison's parents taught her to have self confidence and to live her life versus not following her dreams is why she has what she does. She works very hard and delivers the goods. She could rely on her good looks but she is brave and a little bit more on the inside than what people expect from her beauty. That's why some people live without and others have much. It is better to learn from successful people vs. tearing them down.

What the hell does a single person need 6300 sq ft for?! I couldn't live in a house where my voice echos. I mean c'mon!! Talk about excessive! Even if I wiped my ass with hundred dollar bills I just couldn't be that over the top! Too many people have so much less and I just couldn't do it! If I had a big ass bank account I'd live very comfortably yet modestly. I'd give back to my community instead of living such an excessive life style. To me nothing would make me feel better than helping the less fortunate and maybe even changing somebody's life for the better. I do watch a lot of HGTV with my wife. I've seen a lot of Allison and when I randomly saw this video I was curious. Holy crap lady! Then to find out she had to borrow $400k from friends to finish this house cause she couldn't get a loan to save her life?! Jesus! Live within your means! But that's capitalism and greed for you. Now so I'm not just bashing her, Allison is a very talented designer. She's a little over the top with black and gold but of all of the shows and designers I've seen, Allison's work, especially her kitchens, are some of my favorites. She can also design a hell of a master bathroom! If I were to hire a designer off of HGTV, she'd be in the top three for sure.

The marble in the kitchen is ghastly. The house alternates between being gaudy, boring and ugly. If she wasn't paying to have stupid fireplace mantels imported from France, she wouldn't have liquidity issues during the project and minor overages wouldn't be a problem.

I have decided to start a cleaning company, we only clean rich peoples homes, and over charge them because they have the money, we specialize in black and white floors, high ceilings and trees that drop leaves willy nilly at their whim!😅 the Name of the cleaning company will be " You have the money, we want as much as we can get out of you, Windy City cleaning Co.😊😅
