Gaye, thank you so much for doing this video with Kevin. What a surprise being on KZbin! We, as his parents, are delighted that you took the time to share his new adventure and his adaptable home. We have been able to share with friends, some whom know Kevin and others who only know about him. We are proud of how he is managing with his physical limitations and are encouraged that he will continue to experience new adventures as he travels with his RV. Thank you again.

Hello Gayle!! I really thought it was important to show how you can do anything despite challenges in life! We have been with Kevin at other convergences and really have enjoyed getting to know him!! As an OT I felt this was very important to show his life and it's dear to my heart. I'm very impressed at what he is doing and he is willing to open up to the world and share his life!

Hi Kevin! You are looking so good. So glad to see all is going well. I don't think you actually showed me your cool chair when you were in GA. I like it! Tell your OT friend that Barb Schell (also an OT) lives next door to your folks! If she is okay with it, would love to have her email so we could chat.

What is an “escaper”? What is the name of your chair? Where can I get one? Interestingly, My husband and I took a 4,500 mile across the US when we were young. We’ve always been adventurers and love to travel and camp. Unfortunately, I am now almost at the point where I need a wheel chair to get around, due to multiple autoimmune diseases. I would love to get something that would keep me RVing!

Sue Xscapers is an organization of prime who travel in vans, RVs, etc... And meetup for convergences all over the US. They are a sub group of Escapees. Look them up a great organization that's been around for many many years.

Please don't ride the bull...! Being thrown from a mechanical bull is what out me in the position to be looking at adaptive equipment. I am 19 years post C6/7 SCI. That is a decent set up. I would love to take one like it on a trip to some uncharted adventure.

Hey Joe, I agree so many risky behaviors can cause spinal injuries. I thoroughly enjoyed this video and becoming friends with Kevin. I was an occupational therapist before retirement so it's dear to my heart to help people. Also we know 2 other w/c bound people who live and travel in their vans and are part of meet ups we do. It's all possible. Wishing you best. Thank you for watching!

Actually... I have decided to change my adventure from uncharted to charted. I've been doing "Stand-up" Comedy for a while and I would love to have an accessible RV so I can go on a perpetual road trip to visit my friends across the country and perform comedy in the clubs near them. That is my new dream!

Kevin, your a great example of someone who has disabilities who doesn't give up . Never give up because it's easy to do especially if you don't get positive feedback from family. 🛣️🚐🐕🦊
