Tour of a working Towboat

I am the Captain of an inland waterway commercial Towboat, working primarily around the Mobile Harbour, in Mobile Alabama. We sometimes make short runs between there and New Orleans, Louisiana, which is where you find us in this video. I had just started to film a few specific instances of special attention to detail by my crew, which spontaneously turned into a fairly complete tour of the vessel.
I have been a working Captain on these types of vessels since 1990, but this is the first time I had the honor of a newly built boat.
The vessel shown is the m/v Brendan Crystal, launched in July 2023. Acting tour guide during the video is our Mate , Michael who is largely responsible for the incredible condition of the vessel. Although maintaining it to this level of quality is certainly a group effort by the entire crew: Michael, Noah, Raven, myself and Brian. This is the best crew I have ever worked with and the most pleasant and cohesive work environment I have ever experienced.
This brief tour was not planned in any way, we spontaneously filmed a walk around our vessel.
I wanted to make this video to show off just how great my crew is and the amazing attention to detail evident all around our boat. This is just a regular weekend day, standing by, waiting our turn to go dock.
