Tour of central London on BMW GSA 1250 Part I

The BMW GS Adventure 1250 is phenomenal. When I take this bike out for a ‘run’, I end up spending hours on it. Like the kid with his new bicycle, I don’t want to come back in!!
Went for a ride in central London. In this part, I travelled from Trafalgar Square to Horse Guards Road (where trooping the colour is held). Approach to Buckingham Palace was closed. From there went along the Strand and onto Aldwych. Travelled along Fleet Street to the Old Bailey and onto St Paul’s Cathedral.
Initially I drove the bike in ‘rain mode’, as the roads were wet, and decided to go back to normal ‘road mode’ with a flick of the switch. Riding it is effortless.

Happy New Year. 🤔 Just on a technical note, I realise it's not summer but if you're going to use cable ties, use black ones as the are less UV sensitive and will not become brittle. Also be better to get a black cable too. Nice to hear someone apologising to an elder and not 'hurry up you stupid old f....🙉🙈🙊" (like so often heard). The bike did so look out of place in that 'terain' 😉 Ride safe 😊

Hi Richard, happy new year too! thanks for the positive comments. I take note. Yes, the bike does look out of place in this type of terrain! I’m hoping to get out and about abroad - all depends on the weather! But mid-April seems about the right time for that. I’m not experienced as some but hope to get the mileage under the belt.
