What an amazing opportunity to tour the Chris King headquarters! Chris King is my absolute FAVORITE aftermarket manufacturer hands down! I wish I could have popped in to the facility when I visited Portland about 5 years ago, definitely an epic tour for me since I feel they create artistic masterpieces! Thank You for posting this video, Chris King is amazing, this video really made my day special!

I love the use of compressed paper pulp egg crates and walnut shells in the polishers.

Walnut shells are used to avoid contamination of the parts. It's also used to clean engine blocks etc.

I started running Chris King hubs in the late 80's!!!! Their quality is unmatched! All these years later, I had no idea you guys made your own bearings!!! Now I learn you guys make your own Rims???? Yikes I had no idea about that either.....on my current eBike I have ENVE rims with Black CK hubs. Love the combo and the only truing I had done was after two years and 2500 miles of use! Only the rear need truing the front was perfect! Next set I'll have to try your guys new rims!

Really interesting tour, very cool place to work. Your video reminded me I had a used chris king bottom bracket in a drawer in my garage. Job for the evening was fitting the thing, only took an hour to get the old BB out! Looking forward to some CK smoothness.

On the headsets, the fork crown races are always super tight to install and usually require facing the fork. PITA that requires expensive tools.

I understand, but a lot of that is off-limits. I was thankful for this tour, regardless.

I am surprised Sram has not acquired this company yet. Manufacturing in Portland, OR is just asking for trouble as there is an amazing amount of crime and drug related break-ins and theft. I do hope they survive as they make super awesome products. Another great company is White Industries based out of Petaluma, Ca. I have lots of hubs from them.

I don't understand the questions, nor do I watch whatever channel you are referring to. This was a tour video of Chris King headquarters. I can only show, what I was shown during the tour.
