and just to add I really honestly like the way u all have them that was an awesome idea best set up and viewing way to have them probably the best housing exhibit I have ever seen. I have only seen something like this for natural saltwater coral farms but urs is neater and more functional with the refracting sides and roof. the board walk is an awesome idea very natural feel and clean approach.

I hope these things never get out it’s already a sad situation in Florida
@skylervogel45414 жыл бұрын
MICHAEL MCCOLGAN Hi, usually they build these on elevated areas so flooding isn’t an issue, despite the crocodiles aquatic nature they do like to have dry land as part of their enclosure so water intrusion is an issue they also need it to be elevated to be able to dig into the ground to make the enclosures if they’re in a low area the subterranean enclosures would flood and the properties are usually fenced so even if the greenhouses Get destroyed they can’t escape the property. These Guys have to acquire lots of permits and zoning approvals to house and own these crocodiles so no worries! Most of Florida’s issues with invasive reptiles are actually a product of illegal pet ownership or inexperienced pet owners neither of which apply to these guys!

Absolutely awesome getting this piece by piece walk through, and isn't it the dream every large reptile care taker has ever had a giant semi natural greenhouse full of the species you've always wanted, its honestly hard the believe that Kyle has been able to amass such a diverse collection of crocodilians ownership or on loan, I've always loved the greenhouse since we first saw it years ago with Kenan, something I always thought if it was me I would've loved to do a semi solid base so like 4 to 5 feet high cinder block wall with the greenhouse on top reversing the air flow from the vents on the side while preventing you from having to do the backs on the smaller enclosures, and it's so amazing being able to see the areas for instance where the Chinese pair nests every year, and I think we all know that feeling of stepping on a fire ant nest anything from the South at least a great example of an invasive species I could type all day, but amazing video guys can't wait for the next one
