This brings back many memories, my very first job, (1959), was in Maidstone at County Hall, which, back then held the courts of the Quarter Sessions where I worked, (now Crown Courts), and now located on the other side of the river! Nice to see how clean everywhere is!

Maidstone got smartened up a bit a few years ago. Still lots more to do, but it made a positive difference I think. 👍

Brought up and lived in Maidstone for 22 years then emigrated to Australia, can't believe how much it's changed (for the better) It looks like a good Town to live in. Fond memories' of the London Tavern at the top of Week St.

I lived in Maidstone from 2011 to 2016, although it wasn't perfect... I much prefer it to where I live now. I live in London now and miss being able to walk along the river into the countryside.

Like all places it has its good and bad, but yes the easy access to the Kent countryside is certainly a big positive. 👍👍👍

Maidstone looks very nice and pleasant county town. I have to say also spotlessly clean which is probably due to the number of bins, but does reflect well on the council and townspeople.
