Dennis Daniels I really love the old buildings, I hope they don't overbuild all this modern stuff they're doing and destroy the character of the city. If you look at all the houses, you'll notice that they're all different from one another, each had its own unique style and design, unlike the modern suburban "cookie cutter" houses which all look exactly the same. The house I grew up in in South Minneapolis was built in the early 1920's and it's still there today. The houses are well constructed, they were built to last, unlike the disposable buildings of today constructed with cheap materials.

I live in Minnesota and I used to live in Utah. Can confirm that Minnesota nice is a total sham. Got the jiblets scared out of me first day here. More like Minnesota passive aggressive. My husband lived here for 12 years and he can agree

Minnesota nice + living in the city = passive agression. But for the most part the rest of the state is filled with people who are always willing to lend a hand. I guess that's what having to deal with brutal winter's creates

Thanks for making a cool video about where I live. There’s even more around the metro area: theaters, parks, lakes, hiking and biking trails, the arts, lots of ethnic dining and culinary experiences. Museums, some of the best. Small publishing brings a lot of literature to our area. Lots of festivals, etc. it’s an undervalued place. Thanks!

Visit the once beautiful Twin Cities and all the historic architecture now burned up and destroyed. Walk through our lovely downtown where you can see all the small businesses that are now closed and if you're lucky you just might get a warm Minnesota beat down from one our many lovely citizens. You don't have to worry about getting a parking ticket here or any ticket for that matter as we have defunded the police. Enjoy your stay!
