@dejaysam How much space would be perfect for you? I live solo and I feel about 300ft2 would be perfect for me. I lived in a 500ft2 studio in NYC and it was way too much space. I now have a one-bedroom outside NY that is 600ft2 and I don’t like all the space I am not using. It also encourages me to have a lot of things I don’t need. I prefer not to have a roommate situation bc I do prefer living alone. I don’t plan to renew my current lease. I want to downsize.

Good for you for being so positive but can’t help feeling sad for today’s youngsters in HK. I grow up in HK in the 80’s before moving to NY in my teenage years. My family had very little to start with but my parents worked hard to go from renting a shared flat of 400 sq feet to buying a 700 sq feet flat an flipping that to a 900 sq feet flat on the island at Kennedy Road. I remember my room was about 100 sq feet at the rental but was able to get to about 150 later. How time changes. HK today is not the city I love and grow up anymore.
