Hey Andrew. Great set up. You remind me of myself in the early 70's. Graduated from high school and got a tent from an army surplus store and took off to seek adventures in big cities selling my art in parks and playing guitar during the hippie era. Have a blast in your youth and stay safe. Now retired and ready to go again grandpa. Peace!

Before y’all comment about my food choices I got better food as I went, I understand next time I will bring better food! But it was my first time and I was just thinking about cost... etc... I hope y’all can get past that part.

Hope you had a good trip. Make your own trail mix dried raisins almonds, pine nuts, cashews, zip bag. Canned fish is high protein & crackers, good. Fruits & veggies a better choice. Carrots and celery in separate glass jars of water in ice chest last well for fiber & carotene. Balance the good stuff with what you took. Good luck.

Nice set up Might thinking about cooking on a stove that's will not topple over as easy. Search portable stove propane (Google or Amazon) Also, it's commonly sold at asian markets. Can get fuel there to if you go with one.

I was considering that. we have a larger one but it wouldn't fit in the car well. so I just used that one and it worked for the month that I was traveling. If I was going to live in it or travel for longer I would have a better setup! Thanks for the Idea!

Please eat more Oat Meal!!! , it will save you hundreds of dollars... Use mustard instead of sugar as a topping. Use the real whole oats. Use simply hot water., Do not boil. Please cook away from your car... Walmart has cooking shelters for outdoor cooking..., please get your self a rearview mirror that attaches to your glasses($17.00-21.00) at any bike shop. Be safe and take care. --------Urgent---------

So I don't have too many to do. but I would use bi degradable soap and fill the large pot and then use the soapy water to clean then rinse with my jugs till that was the last dish and then washed that :) Keep in mind If i were doing this full time I would have changed a lot of things :)
