My dad was in the Navy WW2. I use to make jewelry years ago, I still have all my tools and lots of beads. I love all crafts, haven’t been back into crafting since my mom died, it makes me cry, because she loved her crafting to. It brings up to much grief. I miss her everyday. Your rom is very nice.

I am very proud of being a Navy veteran. A lot of that is because of vets that came before, like your dad. I am sorry to hear about your mom. I hope you get back into crafting if it is something you want to do. Thank you for your comment.

I too am rearranging and organizing my tiny bedroom. It's hard when you don't have much space but I love the shelves on the wall! They all look amazing plus it allows you to see all the beads and colors you have in your stash. Something I could use myself. They're very handy! So it's a great idea! Thank you for sharing it with us!

Happy Saturday! 🙂 I was scrolling through some of the channels that I follow and your thumbnail appeared. I saw the title and decided to check it out. I am glad I did, I found a new channel to follow. 😊 I too am a retired veteran, Air Force, fellow bead worker and jewelry maker as a hobby at the moment. I absolutely loved the acrylic shelving you showed, lol, I showed a brief snippet to my son and he said that's your kindred spirit with all those little containers. 😂 That's how I have my supplies contained. He's convinced that's just some military trait. I look forward to seeing your future postings. Have a great week ahead! Happy crafting! 👍

I was pretty organized before I went to the military, but I definitely think the Navy brought it to another level. I won't pretend it never gets a little messy in here, but usually my areas are pretty clean. And, I love my little containers. Thanks for your comment!

Nice, well organized room. Great investment. My son is a Navy Corpsman. This is his 8th and final year. I will be moving to another son and daughter in law's house but not exactly sure when. Space and storage will be a bit tight. I bought a few of these on amazon (Photo Storage Box 4" x 6", 18 Inner Photo Case Extra Large Photo Organizer Acid-Free Photo Box Keeper) that will easily fit under the bed. I'm storing each type of finding in zip baggies and metal beads and then other beads by color. My cords and chains are already in containers. I guess where there's a will there's a way.

I just saw your new office. I love it. My beading space is in my bedroom, & all over the living room. I would love one dedicated room to beading. I use small parts bin. They are on the desk & work great. I do need lables like you have. I have some clear shelves like yours but we're nail polish holder from a friend's hair solon. I use it to hold extra thread in my sewing room. I would like to get a mat like you have on your desk. I'm going to steal your idea for hanging jewelry for the craft fairs/bazaar. Hope you won't mind. I've been thinking about doing something like that for awhile. Everything I have seen has been to bulky & heavy. I submitted notices for you channel.

Such a beautiful place to go to and play and create. We just got back from a trip to Columbus, OH. There use to be a bead store next to Trader Joe's. Went in there a couple years ago for a bead reamer and they never heard of one. Maybe that's not the right word. But it makes a bead hole a bit bigger. Maybe why they are no longer there.

@melandjon210 күн бұрын
First and foremost, thanks for your service in the Navy! What a nice space to work in! My craft room is a straight up disaster area. I sell my jewelry at some craft shows and a local Farmer's Market. I love the idea of wrapping something up for quick set-up! Someone else showed me something similar to the peg board concept, but I like your set up better. Do you also use some displays at your craft booth OR all bins and peg boards, etc OR combination of the two?

I really like your setup. I have a question about the craft fair boards. Do you haul them flat in the truck or do you have “truck” that can keep them upright?
@crafttimebykasi9 күн бұрын
I have an SUV, so they lie flat. I haven't had any real issues. There might be a little adjusting when I take them out and set them up, but very little. It saves so much time!
