It's such a beautiful building - it's a pity that todays architects don't have the vision and flair and imagination to create such places nowadays. Pinching the words that the then Prince Charles said - carbunkle, springs to mind when I look at 'modern day' architecture. I'd have loved to have seen Churchills chair (with his b*m print on it!).

The Raffles hotel was nice but the expensive suites upstairs were not worth 27,000 pounds a night..
