@ 2:48 In the state of Florida the ship casino can be opened when the ship is 3 miles from the coast and does not have to be 12 miles as stated here. I live in Florida and cruise often. There is a casino cruise (Victory Cruise Casino) that operates out of Port Canaveral daily, and they only go out 3 to 3.5 miles so they can open up the casino for a few hours and come back.

I am curious, did you always play the minimum, maximum or somewhere in between bet on the machines?

Good question. Usually I start low and then experiment with higher bets. On the Devil's Lock machine it seemed like the middle bet got me the most reward. A year ago on the Caribbean Princess I had some really good luck early in the casino, so I bet the maximum on some of the hot machines because I was playing with the winnings. That paid off pretty well and I left the cruise $1,000 richer than when I got on. That being said, I've been a little in the red when I've finished my last two cruises.

Why is there smoking in the casino. A lot of people have asthma. Most ships have banned smoking inside.

Beautiful casino but the smoke makes it unbearable for non-smokers.
