Im not saying this is bad research. But if the fungi can adapt. There is no telling how many insects it would wipe out after spraying it across many miles of farmland all across countries. The danger of it wiping out entire food chains is insane. Saying something is "safe" like this is like holding a flame to the fumes of gasoline.

Please view the video again to learn that the entomopathogenic fungi only attacks pest insects. And, ladybugs are also beneficial, attacking only pest insects.

A message from Dr. Pasco Avery to @geronimo5537 “I appreciate your comment; however, entomopathogenic fungi are naturally occurring in the environment, and they attack pests. They are compatible with beneficial insects, pollinators, and other non-target organisms. We are not introducing an invasive species to Florida. This is a major requirement of the EPA registration process, confirming that entomopathogenic fungal-based biopesticides will be ecologically friendly to all organisms and will not have a negative impact on the environment. "If you are interested in learning more about the use of entomopathogenic fungi in a horticultural context, I would be happy to send you previous publications I have authored on their use.”
