Nice set up, did something very similar to a 89 325i for 900 dollars. Times have changed now in prices. 👍

They sure have. I'm still pretty cheap into this whole project thankfully.

hey man thats a beautyfull car, how did you manage to keep the stock ecu and is it better with the itbs than stock?
@TwistedGripGarage7 ай бұрын
Thanks! The DBilas kit came with a chip for the stock ecu. The ITBs are so much better than stock. It revs so much faster. I also enjoy the pops and bangs from the exhaust. Check out my other e30 videos. I think I have one that goes into the install a little.

Planning to do the same thing. Who or how was this tuned? Do you have more info? Maybe a link to a thread?

My kit came with a chip. I installed the chip and car runs good. I believe I have that in one of the e30 project videos on my channel.

Where did you source the ITB kit? …is that from an American based distributor?
@TwistedGripGarage7 ай бұрын
I'm not 100% sure if DBilas is us or UK based. I was able to scoop my kit up second hand in my local e30 Facebook group.

Hi I'm doing an equal swap. and I wanted to ask you what you did about the temperature sensor. to have the temperature on the speedometer
@TwistedGripGarage6 ай бұрын
If you're referring to the temp gauge, there is a black wire on both M42 and M10 harnesses. That wire is the signal wire.
@fatlindshala45396 ай бұрын
@@TwistedGripGarage I mean if you changed the temperature sensor of the m42 by fitting the m10 one
@TwistedGripGarage6 ай бұрын
No need to change. It's a 1 wire type. Just cut and splice. That's what I did.

Cut the wire on the m42 harness. Splice it to the body harness on the M10 car...
