I can’t get enough of this garden and I’m sure if I was there in person I would cry too. And I’d cry again if you tried to make me leave it at the end of the day.

I still watch last year's one of Yvonne's garden. It would be so wonderful to have her demonstrate pruning her climbing roses going up the chimney! I'm in California, so this is so appreciated.

I remember Desdemona standards were planted for white garden in last year video.. The tree trunk slices for the path in Japanese Garden (woodland garden) is amazing idea. I wonder how it was made.. And banana leave bench is beautiful.. Thank you for sharing again this beautiful garden..❤
@rosemama99955 ай бұрын
The standards are Bolero.🤍
@rosemama99955 ай бұрын
The wood slices are 4 inches, treated with sealant two coats on each side and set on gravel dust and a thin layer of gravel. I used play sand to “lock” them in after hammering the slices down with a mallet. All wood free from FB marketplace…took me about 7 trips to different people.

Yvonne, you are so creative with an enviable artistic eye. Love, love love everything! Many thanks for bringing this video to us. Amazing garden, great design. Is it possible to know the names of the big Hostas (on the right) at timestamp 8.36 and 8.44?

There are quite a few hostas at those time stamps. The big chartreuse ones are Sum and Substance. The pale yellow and green one on the right is Liberty. The bluer one is probably Krossa Regal.

French words: espalier pronounced “es-pa-lee-ay” emphasis on each syllable (as are all French words). Zepherine is Zeh-fer-reen, and Drouhin is Drew-an. These are the ones I’ve heard because I’m skipping to parts of the garden I like. Glad to hear peonies pronounced as the Latin “pee-oh’-nee-ah.” Thank you for this tour! (I don’t mean to be rude with the pronunciations. I speak French, so thought I could help out.)
