What is the source of the wood chips used at the facility? Does it come from arborists who run tree branches through chipper machines, or does BIC have on-site machinery to shred and chip large chunks of trees, etc. that may come in with the yard debris collected from residences?

How do you make sure the compost arrives at the customer as alive as possible? Those microorganisms suffer in open environments/ sun/ wind and in closed bags too.
