Tourettes + The Holidays = DIFFICULT | Vlogmas 2024

Vlogmas 2024 is here! This is my first vlogmas as a KZbinr. I am romanticizing the frick out of this christmas. In this episode I am talking about navigating the holidays as someone who struggles with Neurodiversity. I am prone to experiencing mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and stress. And I also experience and struggle with overstimulation quiet a lot. Looking back at this video I feel like I did not highlight the impact of sensory overload as much as I would like to. Overstimulation is something underestimated by neurotypicals. As you can imagine the holidays are a big pile of sensory nightmares, uncertainties and abnormalities. This makes the holidays usually one of the hardest times of the year for me. Christmas isn't all bad. I do actually love christmas. I just need to look after myself a little extra. Thankfully I know how to do that, and I WILL do that. Because I am worthy of calmness and joy:)
