Worry about co2 emissions once you have the GDP per capita of Germany lol. The co2 emissions of a filipino are 18 times less than those of a canadian, 12 time less than someone from Iceland, 6.5 times less than someone from Denmark, etc.. By far not the main concern of 95% of filipino.

Back in college 2003 or 2004ish, when the line newly opened. I would commute everyday from katipunan to cubao(last station then) and back.. the train was prestine, clean, and ad free. Only a few passengers patrionize the train then. It was a gorgeous machine.

I was also in college when this opened, to be honest this line surpassed my expectations, I didn’t expect a glass elevator from out government infrastructure, even the voice PA was world class for me. Nice ride, and it's amazing how from Recto to Antipolo only took less than 40 mins. A feat unimaginable before the advent of LRT. This will lead to everybody in maximizing time towards productivity. The stations are well designed not like the stations of MRT-3; ang laki at napaka-init sa loob.

Dapat inextend na din hanggang Antipolo Bayan. Antipolo Station (which is supposed to be Masinag Station) is just in the foothills (Lower Antipolo). More people will benefit if they extended it to the city proper. But hey, this is still a very welcome development. Maybe a second extension is in the pipeline.

This a good accomplishment by our govt and country as a whole. Malaking bagay yung 2 added stations. Ang bilis lang marereach ng Antipolo. Cguro the only negative was it took them more than 4yrs to contruct just 2 stations. I remember when I was in HS, it took them also 4yrs to construct the whole LRT-2 line. So yeah but still its a great accomplishment

FYI. The Makina Station is placed between the Marikina and Pasig boundary. The Robinson Metro East, Catex and Sta. Lucia Business Center (new building adjacent to Robinson) is part of Pasig City. The Sta.Mall is part of Cainta.

Just imagine when the pandemic is over and jobs will be up and running again. Our economy will sky rocket when the pandemic is over to me this pandemic is a miracle in disguise even tho this is a bad thing I think it made infrustructures faster to build becuase theres only a few cars driving so the workers can get there faster I just hope the next president will focuse on continuing the BBB (build build build) project and make discipline strict again (but not very strict).
