Saw this thing today, heading south from Palm Beach in moderate waves and maybe 15mph wind. We were amazed at how it wallowed around, lifting out on the wave crests and then nose-diving into troughs - bow buried and stern completely out of the water, props spraying. This thing was a mess - like taking an aluminium skiff out in surf. It was amazing - and embarrassing - to watch. Meanwhile, normal-displacement yachts with maybe 60% of this boat's top speed were passing them with no drama. I really hope any prospective buyers actually take this out on a crossing on a brisk day. It will scare the life out of anyone on board. This top-heavy skiff was made for flat-water only - more like a pontoon boat. Not a professional (or competent) conversion. Don't even think of using this for any blue-water excursions.

I've watched several of your videos and I think you're doing a great job showing some amazing yachts. Your narration, video and audio quality are wonderful 👍. Your knowledge of the boats or admitting to lack of is excellent. I have 2 suggestions that I hope you will take to heart, I believe they will make your channel so much better. 1, slow down just a little. I understand that this boat had a lot of people on it and you might want to get through it quickly. But in all of your videos you walk and move the camera really fast. Which brings me to my 2nd suggestion, your camera movement. It feels very robotic instead of organic. You tend to scan things twice and really fast. You look at it, scan left and then scan it again back to the right or you look at something scan down and then scan it backup. You only need to scan things one time, take an extra second or 2 to scan it, pause, and then move on to the next thing. You entered the bridge on the starboard, scanned to port, back to the center to show the wheel, farther starboard to the stairs, spun around to the seating, back to Port for the captains cabin and then exiting starboard. That's a lot of back and forth. Same in the engine room. Back-and-forth like 3 times between the port and starboard engine. I'm not trying to be mean and criticize, I am trying to be helpful.. So I hope you take my suggestions in that spirit. And I'm looking forward to seeing more great videos of some amazing yachts on your channel.
@YachtAddiction2 жыл бұрын
I always appreciate constructive feedback. I will be filming a bunch of new tours in the near future and I am definitely going to try and slow things down. My natural speed even when walking around normally is quick so it's something I have to actively fight. The next few videos will be quicker paced in a similar way since they're filmed already but it will be top of mind to slow down for future videos.

That is a very nice ship.I hate seeing all the bow area wasted like that with machinery and no good comfortable relaxing spot.Yes,there were 2 benches.4 staterooms,and a Master were well appointed too.There's just so much wasted space on this ship.It's great as a 'floating mansion',but not as a home.If it takes you 10 minutes to get from 1 living area to another.I've seen more 'livable'48-70ft to be honest/You did a good tour in a very hectic situation.
@YachtAddiction2 жыл бұрын
I get what you mean. I think it mostly comes down to this being an older design (delivered in 1989). Modern yacht designs have been able to streamline ship systems and improve the flow of the interiors. As far as your relaxing spot, I think the sun deck would be the go to place!

I waited to give my thoughts, (for what they are worth! LOL) The good first, I actually like the layout and the ample size of the guest cabins and bridge layouts along with a huge dinning area dedicated, very nice, the craftmanship thruout the vessel seems top notch, it range is decent price is great , now for the bad the draft is too shallow I would image it would be a rough run in rough seas, althought each to his own somewhere like the south of France or Carribean it should be fine or on a river, here is the biggest negative for me I could deal with all it's issues but this I FEEL LIKE I AM IN A HOSPITAL!! jesus what gives with the "modern" designers today!

You can with great luck slow down you`r speed with the camera. Or else you`r content is just as good as the rest of them.

He said that there were many people on board the boat and that will have a tendency to make you rushed. Keep in mind that for a lot of these showings, you are only given 15 minutes at the most to walk through the boat. Sometimes less and this is a giant yacht. I'm not saying he couldn't improve in some aspects, but he is trying his best to cover everything before more and more people come on board.
