I’m surprised the lizards can’t climb the glass. These are really beautiful terrariums. And very healthy, happy animals.

I'm from the US- It is fascinating to see native European species kept like this! Also, it never fails to amaze how you and others have such a great command over the English language, as a second or third language. Thank you for sharing!

How do you keep the glass so clean? I’m in Florida and would think rain would be difficult to keep from staining the glass. Unless you’re cleaning all day long. Are you using rain-x?

Incredible. Very inspirational. I'm interested to know how he insures all the snakes get fed. Can't be easy to make sure everyone gets fed

I have passed on the question for specific answer but in general this is how I understood it: rodenteaters are mosly fed individually with long tongs and observation. In some cases with fisheaters multiple feedingstations are used. And for instance the young berus also eat a ton of insects. A lot of observation is done looking at bodycomposition. I have to say that all outdoorkeepers I know with snakes use this method. It is a bit different then indoor keeping on many levels. I think "letting go" where you can/must is one of those things. Next video will also be about snakes outdoors. So will also include info how that person does it :)

Glad to see you're back! Two questions: 1. With the watering system for the amphibians did it have an ro filter? Or is it attached to a well? Or is the volume of water large enough to dilute chlorine and other chemicals/spraying happens in the day so by the time the amphibians come out the chemicals would of dispersed out before they come in contact? 2. For the snakes how do they make sure they all get fed? When I've done outdoor enclosures for snakes they've been smaller then these with larger snakes or only a single specimen in the enclosure so it was easier to find everyone and individually feed them. Does the person just go round looking for them, drop food onto a tray and assume everyone gets something or put in food alive so it can be hunted down giving everyone a chance to catch something?

Glad to be back with some sunstance :) thanks! As far ad I can answer: 1, most ponds overflow with rain. Water used to fill ponds is mostly collected rainwater. The water from the 'tab' in this area is very clean so they are lucky with the location.. and as you mention. Dilution must help :) 2, mostly individual feeding is done. Sometimes feeding areas in different spots. And just "looking" at the animals condition over time. I will check with the owner of the garden if he has anything to add/correct. I was here in May, live just got in the way of editing.

Very nice video and setup. In Florida, most native species are protected and can't be kept. Otherwise I would do something similar.

Freaking amazing. I am also in germany and I am currently planning an outdoor habitat for a group of Lacerta Agilis! I think I'll close the top because I dont want to loose them to cats or birds. Maybe I'll even go so tall that I can easily stand in it or sit in it and relax while beeing close to the animals. Could you maybe ask the owner of this beautiful place if there is any way I can contact them? Or if they can contact me? I just subbed here and followed on insta!
