Aesthetic-wise, this home looks amazing... But unfortunately i notice some impracticality on the design. 1. U can't use the bar in the garage, unless the car is out for a drive. 2. The toilet ceiling was unnecessarily high... They could have use the upper portion to maximize the loft area. 3. The curtain wall was kind of a hazard to the occupants. When opened, its opening could fit a full size door... And yet there were no guards or whatsoever to prevent the occupants from falling to the outside.. Especially with how the stairs was oriented. One mistake of slipping, the next thing you know, you'll be lying on the ground outside the house
@AdrianCubed3 жыл бұрын
I agree with you, I just want to add: The curtain wall should pivot from waist high glass frame instead of pivoting from the floor. This would allow it to open, without occupants falling a metre to the sloped garage. Also electric curtain pulls. (The fire escape ladder leads to nowhere and is pointless. 5. The Kitchen: Having the cooktop directly behind seated occupants heads is a hazard. Swapping the sink and cooktop would be practical. A raised kitchen bar for dining should replace the table. (Following my next points you'll see why you'll be able to fit a dining table in the space). 6. Outdoor/Laundry: This space in my opinion should be removed and the kitchen/main floor extended out. The Laundry machines stacked and placed in the bathroom area with a minor extension of the space behind a closet door, (here is where systems/HVAC for the property should also be). 7. The bathroom/Bedroom: Ceiling is too high, and a waste of useable space for the bedroom above. A walk in closet would grant more floor space in the bedroom. With the building being extended back (over the former laundry) This space could be the access to the rooftop via a spiral stair or other means. 8. The Rooftop: Something no one is mentioning, this is valuable space that should double as the outdoor/garden entertaining space. Glass railings with planters lounge seating and perhaps an outdoor sink/range for bbq along the rear wall.

Agree with you. There's some unnecessary things on the design of the house and also interior design. Like the powder room no need high ceilings and tall mirror.

Another way to fix the windows opening onto a fall problem is to have a balcony out there over the driveway and use the opening as an intentional door. It probably couldn’t be a big balcony because of the way the driveway slopes, but enough to have some plants for a small bit of privacy

I absolutely love 💕 this design! I like the tall walls, doors and the industrial feel makes it very unique and creative. To me this isn’t a tiny home where you are trying to maximize space, but it gives off more of a luxury vibe. That being said I don’t particularly care for the glass floor by the front door, other than that it’s beautiful. Thanks for posting.

Well done!

Even though it is more industrial than I like it is still a beautiful design. I especially love the windows and how they open. I am getting an ocean view lot and looking for something that can take advantage of the view. This checks lots of boxes, but a little too cold and needing 2 bedrooms.

Hot Water Tank? Furnace room, Electrical room/panel? The extra room on the roof? accessible by ladder cage right. Climatization docks system for main floor? or flooring trap vent? I'm assuming concrete/metal beam construction type. PS: I would recommend Timber wood structural advantage, 6x faster to build(no curing time), lego assemblage. No need beams and can resolve the beam problem for docks and vents. Electrical washing machine outside, expose to environment elements? I'm assuming hot regions, no winter all year long. Unless you are rich out source the problem, no broom nor moping closet? I would recommend to close up back room with an extra door on the back/left of the kitchen, to use as a pantry/storage/laundry room(South Korea does that all the freaking time, not a bad idea). Great video and idea. Approved 100% with certain modification of course.

Nice design! I love the idea of the opening facade but not towards the street. I also think the high ceiling in the toilets is a waste of space for the first floor. And there are no blinds in the bathroom for privacy

everyone complaining about the giant opening window not having safety feature (blockages or the window shoudnt start from floor) just enjoy the design. 1. it would look ugly asf. 2. its the aesthetic feature of the house. 3. ppl living in the home would know not to fall from there. 4. u r not a designer go design ur own house.
@Vulpeculaaa3 жыл бұрын
Looks like I will flood the bathroom floor when I shower lol. Will be real interesting when I am in the garage bar and someone with a dress/skirt on rings the doorbell. Does that ladder lead to nothing? Is that vent a secret escape hatch??
@piero17sb3 жыл бұрын
Not really with the shower, I have one just like that at home, the floor is tilted down toward the back wall so it creates an illussion of a continuous floor but the water flows naturally to the horizontal drain on the back. The skylight on the bar that I agree is really idiotic, and that metal ladder you see there I asume leads to where tha water tank is, its usually for maintenance, quite common in Latin America.
