A good habit from wood wind players is prepare your instrument for its next use. Wipe everything down. Maintain as you go. Prepare your room before you leave it. Can't do much about dust without good air conditioning.

@@acesul8811 Could you please elaborate on how air conditioning can help with dust in the studio? I just installed ac in mine and i'm curious.
@acesul8811
@acesul8811 Жыл бұрын
@@redwithblackstripes If the air pressure in your studio is kept slightly higher than the air pressure outside the studio, then it will reduce the chance of dust floating in. It will also carry some dust out with it, as air moves from high to low pressure. This is usually not possible with residential AC units, though most commercial units can do it. Basically, your AC must suck in extra air (filtered of course), and keep it slightly higher than the surrounding rooms. An air purifier with a dust filter can also help if your AC isn't up to the task. A small cheap air purifier can rotate all the air in a room in only about 15 minutes. However, none of these solutions are perfect, but they do help. I run an air purifier with a HEFA filter 8 hours a day in my bedroom and I get way less dust than any other room. Dust is just a fact of life and the best thing is consistent prevention

This "Dude" is really lovely and has an ai in music inside ;) I'm an older guy and loved his music since the first song. I have herard a lot of electronical music (Vangelis, Kitaro, Deuter, W. Carlos, Tomita (left handed dream!), Klaus Schulze, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Edgar Froese, Pink Floyd (WOW), Alain Parsons Project (Super), and really much more... Jean-Michel Jarre is a bit different and following up the time, with new technic, but didn't forget his roots. Because of this music, I started to collect the analogue synths, effects and drum machines as well. Got some unique pieces of the 70s, like VCS-6 or a Tangerine Dream synthesizer +++ I hoped to see him one time and change some words... Today I like Nils Frahm for example, because he is a very nice musician, who mixes classical instruments with a few synths and older effects (Roland tape echo). And he plays alone very hard with hands and foot, so you can see the running sweat from his noise. Woe - a real musician from the bottom of his heart, like Jean-Michel Jarre!. Here is an older demo: kzbin.info/www/bejne/n6vLeH99hdKpf7c sure you love it :) THX Mr. Jarre to make this difficult world more colourful!

One correction is that the digital mellotron is not at all related to the original company, Streetly/Bradmatic lost the rights to the Mellotron name in the late 70's/early 80's. Bradmatics makes the M4000 which is a new tape based "Mellotron" and is the only one linked to the original company.

An absolutely brilliant piece of music. I'm promoting it with my profile picture. So different from his Oxygene-style, yet so fantastic in every way. Unbelievable high quality production, a multi-layered, complex tapestry of sounds that combines 90's electronic styles like downtempo, techno, trance, progressive house (Hey Gagarin), breakbeats, ambient with organic, traditional instrumentations, Arabic, Irish, Asian and other world music, plus beautiful female vocals and creative vocoder voices from JMJ himself. A varied, creative, perfectly executed concept. I'm not trying to be overdramatic, but I honestly think it's one of the most underrated albums ever in music history.
