i've never heard of throat singing before!! it's amazing
@MsCherade97 жыл бұрын
suzon heron It really is. Both Tibetan and Mongolian throat singing is very beauty and emotionally powerful to watch. There are groups of men tgat used to come to the town I'm from in Yorkshire, England to sing in the street and sell CDs. We had several in the car which we'd listen to and try to figure out how to sing ourselves, it's really hard to make those sounds!

My boyfriends sister is a bank manager in Australia, apparently they have ATM/banking vans there for rural communities and after natural disasters disrupt services. Their vans also have a counter with staff to do other banking services. They visit rural areas on a regular, usually weekly basis to provide services to people on remote farm stations etc.

Ganchimeg Naidan Yes both Bhutan and Mongolia place a lot of emphasis on education and learning English is one of the best ways of increasing their ability to earn a good wage as an adult for the family.

MsCherade9. Is English taught as a required subject for all students beginning in elementary school? In high school? Or do students/adults take private English lessons? One more question: what is the official language of Mongolia? Can everyone speak Russian?
@bryan73007 жыл бұрын
Lynn Rogers English is taught as a required language starting from elementary school in Mongolia. It became like that since 2005 ish. Official language of Mongolia is Mongolia. That said, Russian schools are pretty common in Mongolia so some people know Russian well. Source: am Mongolian

Bryan U You're supposed to let go of everything. Family, technology, money, culture, and even your identity. You're supposed to be a vegetarian because those animals are killed in order to consume. You still have to live by the principals given by Buddha. It just means you're still attached to the Earth.

In the US, there definitely would've been robberies or attempted robberies, but I'm sure stuff like this rarely happens in Mongolia. We Asians are the most genuine and hard-working people there are. Explains how China, which has more than 3.5 times the population of the US, has a significantly lower crime rate, like less than a quarter that of the US.
