We're taking you on a surf highway road trip through a region we know little about! Taranaki - Like No Other!! We explore a dormant volcano at Taranaki Maunga/ Mount Egmont, and some of the most, mighty and epic coastlines along the Surf Highway 45!!

heaps to see and do in the area, love the Waihi beach down at hawera, nice walk down the coast. The mountain as you say is so accessible and so many options of walks etc.

Waving from New Plymouth 😂 wish we'd been there same time as you... No happy hour while we were at Hawera 😢. And yes you need to fill in the paper book in the shed at each site (H&S reasons) there was a custodian on site during our stay. Our window on our doors so dark they always have to knock 😂.

I was just going to say about filling in the NZMCA paperwork, it's the only way the custodian knows you have paid. One day perhaps they'll be able to tell via the app but at least you can now pay online! Lovely video as usual.
